I just found out that Steve Tyler fell off the wagon because of injury and pain pills. It was a while back, but that sucks. I hope him being on American Idol means he is back on the wagon. I've seen one show and I love him but I don't have to live with him.
Listening: To myself laugh at Modern Family - love that show
Eating: Had some salad and Brunswick stew
Drinking: Luna - yes the moon in a bottle
Wearing: Now I've decide to describe my PJ's - purple, blue, silver and white bottoms, blue tank and a purple long sleeve t with some fuzzy purple socks
Feeling: Thankful that my meeting went good and I got out of work before 7
Need: to do dishes - again - ain't doing it tonight
Thinking: no, I don't want girl scout cookies
Enjoying: My new wallet and purse - how cool.
Wondering: If this big hunk of christmas bulb is going to do anything. the roots have moved around but no green at all...yet
Internet Find: I got my Better Homes mag today and it's about to expire. It has a quiz for what is your color : http://bhg.com/colorpersonality/
I was an earthy green which I found weird because my favorite color is blue almost every shade of it. Yeah I like green but blue makes me swoon.

This is getting a little boring but I do like sitting to think about what I'm feeling, need, wondering.
Listening: TV: Big Bang Theory
Eating: more guacamole
Drinking: water
Wearing: PJ's YEA!
Feeling: like it's been a long week and it's only Tuesday
Need: to do the dishes...but I'm not - it will have to wait until tomorrow
Thinking: I have removed my blog just to read to myself. Maybe I'll stop for a while. Wishy washy.
Enjoying: the new purse a friend gave me and I love the wallet. Just took all my stuff out of my current purse to use the new one - Had never heard of Elliott Lucca. I think I'll look it up. She buys stuff and doesn't want to return it and I am happy to help.
Wondering: how long it will take to get my little refund - yea baby

Walls
I slept so good last night. Asleep by 11 and slept until 7. It was not my alarm that woke me up though. My neighbors were fighting in a way that made me dial 91 and had my finger on the 1. If I ever hear that kind of stuff again I will hit the 1. It is one of those sensitive things in an apartment because I don't know what is going on but I'm close enough to hear that it's not good.
Coming from a loud family myself I realize that not all altercations warrant the police to come. I just don't want to be one of those people that knows that something violent is taking place and dismiss it. I don't know that anyone was touched but I know I have thought about it all day.
People fight and sometimes there are reasons and emotions that push people out of control but as long as it stops before it goes too far and it's reasonably equal I don't think others should get involved. I heard the woman cry but I also heard her strong voice so I hope they will either work it out or decide to part.
On the other hand once I'm asleep, I'm usually hard to wake up so if someone wakes me again or I hear that level of disruption, I'll be making a call and the police can determine if it has gone to far. That's what happens when you share walls with people.
Strange first thought: Who fights in the morning? I wouldn't have the energy to go to that level so early in the morning. I personally prefer to fight in the afternoons or evenings.
Listening: Very Valentine by Adriana Trigiani (Book on CD)
Eating: Blue Corn Taco's w/ Guacamole
Drinking: Bella Sera Pinot Grigio
Wearing: PJ's now but earlier I wore new shoes that gave me a blister :(
Feeling: Hopeful that my niece will feel better tomorrow - stop choking
Need: To water the plants before I go to bed
Thinking: about my clean sheets - yum
Enjoying: Wireless that Bentley got all set up this weekend. It took 3 reps. I hung up on the first one. The second one hung up on me and Bentley got the third one and even asked to speak to his manager to show appreciation.
Wondering: How will the birds live in the gourd bird houses if I never put them outside.
Internet Find: YOU ROCK GIRL (I assume you are ok with people seeing this since you posted it on YOU TUBE) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RfjhXgj7KBY

What?
I said No.
Boundaries, remember.
Okay, Don't think I am giving in or being flexible or compliant, making a commitment or any of those things because the fact that I have added how may consecutive entries in how many days does not mean that I am going to be interested in this thing a month from now. I am focused on doing more things that I enjoy. Spending more time on fun things and less on serious things.
So I'm writing a little something because I want to. I may even make a little goal to blog everyday for 20 days and see how it feels. Not because I feel like I have to but because I enjoy sitting down and sharing little tid bits. I will at least do my check in so I can look back for myself to see how it's going:
Listening: Prince - KISS
Eating: salad, black eye peas, and for dessert: nutella on bread
Drinking: H2O
Wearing: Yoga pants and t-shirt I bought at beach with bamboo on it ZEN
Feeling: Like I got a lot of good stuff done this weekend
Need: To mail my taxes off tomorrow because I get a refund :)
Thinking: The container store could become addictive
Enjoying: The AWESOME massage I had this afternoon - 2 hours and I'm sore and have a few bruises - wow I did some deep breathing for 2 hours - too much oxygen to the brain
Wondering: If I have meetings tomorrow.

UNDO
Something I don't understand is WHY DOESN'T CNTL V paste into this blogger thing. WOW it really gets on my nerves. And if this laptop mouse continues to magically move my cursor all over the text and screw up my typing up I am going to... to... plug in my wireless mouse dang it.
OK - WHERE IS THE UNDO BUTTON?
I am going to have to write to someone because I know this is a free resource for blogging and all but I do have standards and you guessed it...boundaries.

Sleep
I need at least 9 hours and I'm just not getting it. You know you just can't fix everything at once. It's a process. It takes time to implement self improvement. This should be an easy one. I'm TIRED. I start to act like a butt when I don't get enough sleep.
It's not like I have kids or a dog that keep me from getting enough sleep. I am not up studying for finals. I don't usually have to be in the office super early. There are times I can sleep any time of day, sitting in a chair with lights on, noise, activity, etc. So why are there times that I just can't get it to work?
Some of the times it is something as simple as needing to lay in the bed - that would help. Other times I can lay there for hours and wish I had Obama's bat phone so I could give him the solutions to all the worlds problems because at 2:00 a.m. it's pretty obvious what needs to be done. But then when the alarm goes off and it's all back to being very complicated and I got nothing. Nothing but bags and grunts and promises that I will get more sleep tonight, if I will just get in the shower and go...move. Promises Promises.
Listening: Sunsets (Bernard Fanning and Missy Higgins)
Eating: Nothing right now but I do have heartburn
Drinking: Nothing
Wearing: You Guessed it PJ's but I do have a sweatshirt on too
Feeling: So thankful for it being Friday so I can catch up on some sleep
Need: To turn down the heat and get into bed. I think tomorrow will be better
Thinking: My brother should stop picking up trees
Enjoying: PBS and i just downloaded the free app
Wondering: How to keep the battery on my ITOUCH from going down so quick. I think it gets turned on in my purse so I've got figure out how to keep it from happening. That "Touch" feature is kind of sensitive.
Internet Find: http://speakledbirdfarm.com/ I bought some gourd birdhouses from them at the Farmer's Market. I love them. Remind me of my grandmother and her gourds. These are really cool with paint and some beads.

Today
Listening: Pink (Aerosmith) - I heart
Eating: Salad with Pulled Pork (why did they put a bbq place right next door?)
Drinking: Water -boring
Wearing: PJ's (day two and there could be a pattern)
Feeling: Mad. I have been mad since 8:07 a.m. Since I got up early, thought i was running late, rushed to get to a teleconference just to find out it was canceled. If I sleep tonight, I'll get over it.
Weather: I'm officially removing this - I have no interest.
Need: To return some shoes. I don't like to go to stores at night so it'll have to wait for the weekend.
Thinking: Must get sleep
Enjoying: not having a bra on
Wondering: when Bentley will get the hulu that I du need so I can catch up on some of the shows I like and have missed. He doesn't read this thing so it's not passive aggressive - he knows I want it.
